4 days/3 nights in Zanzibar
Zanzibar island is a tourist destination in Tanzania, with the reputation of “the Maldives of Africa”.
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
Morning: Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport, take the airport shuttle or taxi to Stone City, check in at the hotel, have a rest.
In the afternoon: Visit the Stone City, a UNESCO World Heritage site with its architecture blending Arab, Persian, Indian and European styles. You can visit the House of Zanzibar, the ruins of the slave market, and the Aljahid Mosque.
-Evening: Hotel leisure
Day 2: Day of the Sea
Morning: Visit Prison Island, which costs about $4 for a round-trip ticket and $15-40 for a round-trip boat ride. You can watch giant tortoises and explore the rich coral reefs around the island.
–Afternoon: Join a Mnemba Atoll snorkeling trip for $20-50, including boat and equipment. One of the best snorkeling spots where you can encounter dolphins and tropical fish.
-Evening: Hotel leisure
Day 3: Spice Journey and cultural experience
-Morning: Visit the Spice Garden for $10-15 with a guide. Zanzibar is known as the “Spice Island”, where you can learn about the cultivation of cloves, nutmeg, herbs and other spices, and pick spices yourself.
In the afternoon: Back in Stone City, free time or shopping. You can go to the local market and buy some local handicrafts.
-Evening: Hotel leisure
Day 4: Return trip
-Check out of the hotel according to the flight time, take the airport shuttle or taxi to the airport, and end a pleasant trip to Zanzibar island.
